The Five-O 5K honors all men and women in uniform who dedicate their lives in making Houston safe. This run celebrates and appreciates all the dedication and support that Law Enforcement Torch Run officers have to keep the flame burning for Special Olympics Texas. As we run 3.1 miles we honor all of the Law Enforcement Torch Run members who are no longer with us, like our beloved Officer Marco Zarate. He was a devoted member of the LETR group who helped with every fundraiser held in the Houston area, including the statewide Torch Run to Arlington for the Special Olympics Texas Summer Games.

Join us as we run with our LETR group and thank them for raising over $1 million per year to fund athletic programs for over 58,000 Texas athletes with intellectual disabilities. Of every dollar raised, 92¢ goes directly to programs for Special Olympics Texas athletes. Thank you for your support. Together we promote dignity, equality and opportunity for all people.
